To help ensure you get a flawless fit, Liliana offers the following recommendations:

• If possible, purchase a size larger than your normal size – it’s easier to take seams in than to let them out.

• Bring the shoes and undergarments you plan to wear to obtain the proper fit and length of your gown.

• Bring your accessories, including your veil, hairpieces, and jewellery, to help achieve the right balance and overall look.

• Bring a trusted friend or relative for a second opinion. However, bringing all of your bridesmaids might prevent you from focusing on critical details.

• Allow two to three months from the time of your first fitting to your last to account for weight changes and time to complete the work.

• On the day of your final fitting, bring your maid of honor or someone in your wedding party so they can become familiar with how your dress or bustle works.
